Ecology & Natural History

The current way that living organisms interact with their physical environment (i.e., ecology) is driven by their natural history, or in other words, by the way, they have been interacting with their environment and with other organisms throughout their evolutionary history.

I am highly curious about what animals are doing out there, where do they live, how many are they, how they behave, what do they eat and how do they survive. By using simple approaches such as pure observation or more complex quantitative techniques such as cutting edge technology and modeling, these are some of the questions that I like to answer to uncover the secrets of our living world.
